The Endangered Southern Black-Throated Finch will plummet towards extinction if Adani's Carmichael mine goes ahead as planned. 

Put simply, Adani’s Carmichael mine will destroy the best remaining habitat in an area that is home to the largest known Black-Throated Finch population. 

A  report submitted to Federal Environment Minister Josh Frydenberg reveals a 'fundamentally flawed' offset plan that will have grave consequences for the future of this bird. 

The 'offsets' proposed to mitigate the devastating impact of this mine are totally inadequate – you simply cannot replace the best Black-Throated Finch habitat left on Earth.
