Australia's coastal and wetland birds face numerous challenges, but one key factor is disturbance by humans. BirdLife Australia have been involved in coastal bird conservation for decades, and need your support to help ensure that many of these wonderful birds are protected forever.

Beach-nesting birds, who lay camouflaged eggs on beaches, and migratory shorebirds, who spend Summer in Australia after breeding as far away as Siberia, are particularly threatened in 2021. More and more Aussie locals are heading to their local beaches as international travel is limited, but not every Aussie knows how to go to the beach in bird-friendly ways.

Too much critical habitat needed for these birds remains unprotected in Australia, leaving birds vulnerable.

Help us save these precious birds, so that future generations of Aussies - both human and feathered - can enjoy our shores.
