It just takes a second to secure precious habitat for WA seabirds!
Submissions close 16th July, 2024.
Australia’s globally significant Great Southern Reef – from east of Bremer Bay to the South Australian border – boasts more species than the Great Barrier Reef.
Now, we have a chance to ensure future generations can enjoy this remarkable landscape, while also securing precious habitat for WA seabirds and marine life, because the WA Government have announced a South Coast Marine Park.
The proposed park is a big step, but there are still crucial areas of sanctuary missing in the draft plans. We need your help to ensure seabirds, nearshore coastal protection, and diverse marine life in the Recherche Archipelago, off Esperance, don’t miss out on the protection they need.
Add your comments via our handy form to help secure strong sanctuary protection for threatened seabirds, today!
Together we can secure a South Coast Marine Park that can rival the Great Barrier Reef and Ningaloo, and give WA’s south coast seabirds a lasting future.
